Protect My Pet rebrand and site redesign: A full brand overhaul including updates to packaging, advertising and the main brand website. Using a mobile first approach based on user research that showed the majority of customers accessed from a mobile the website was redesigned to appeal to the brands target demographic. With a heavy focus on usability and search engine optimisation the site was redesigned to reflect the updated brand style. This fully responsive site was designed and built as an agile project, enabling us to create a site that not only looked good but worked well across multiple devices. The rebrand also included updated packaging and a photoshoot to create branded assets to be used throughout the site and in advertising material.
My involvement: Working as the Head of Design I was responsible for the rebrand of Protect My Pet. I worked closely with the Head of Copy to create a brand that appealed to the Protect My Pet audience as identified in user research that we were heavily involved in. From concept to final design I updated the brand to have consistency and user appeal whilst always keeping usability and user experience at the forefront of the project. Going forwards I regularly provide updates for the website and produce regular inserts that are included in the monthly boxes that are sent out with customer orders. I am also responsible for overseeing social output and art directing photo shoots.
